Lee: The True Story

Along with the editing of this featurette, I was also tasked with creating the title graphics and also a way of presenting the many behind-the-scenes photographs and archival photographs from the titular war photographer Lee Miller.

This was an especially fun brief as the lead actor and producer Kate Winslet had learnt how to use the same Rolleiflex camera as Lee, and taken many photos on set which were direct recreations of some of the moments which Lee had experienced during the war. This allowed us to compare the photos side by side in a contact sheet mechanic that I designed using one of the scans of Lee’s original film strips.
